slightly sculptural
righty, basically in one of out classes we were to set up a “blog” or weblog as such to detail what it is we were doing in class and how we are going about it. i’m gonna start doing that here and upload a couple of photos. the title is Paper cut which means that all of out sculptures aer to be made out of paper (fun eh?) anyway this can mean we can do it in card, tissue and i’m guessing papier machie (seeing as thats just paper and glue) they can be any size we want as well (from teeny tiny to an installation…. can even have them hanging from the ceiling if we so desire)

these are a couple of photos of something i have done during class time. the theme is urban through out the majority if the classes and i ave been quite taken to the whole aspect of stairs and leading places. however in this piece i have looked more at Escher’s impossible stairways.

been a while
again it’s been a while since i was last here, but i have been busy as such (yes i know same old same old…. work, college etc etc…) anyway for al those interested, i took down the webcomic by the name of curse of the moon…. there was multiple reasons for this the main be being i generally lost all interest in it. i tried to get back into it by redesigning the characters outfits, and even extending the plotline slightly.
however all is not lost! i have started a new one which is currently unnamed. this one i am doing the writing as a collab with anyone who is interested (at the moment i have managed to rope one person in >=D). it is basically based around games, the metal genre of music, anime and general randomness… and this also means i don’t have to put as much thought into anything other than the drawings as that is pretty much all of my obsessions =3
anyhoo…. currently listening to: Blind Guardian (much thanks to Shibs for recommending them =3)

=D finally got comic uploaded, only what, 3 weeks late? -_-;;; yes i know, i FAIL (muchly). its under a different name than was originally planned. Instead of “Blood Moon” (which is being used by another user of the site… i WILL find this comic and i WILL read it =P) its now called “Curse of the Moon” pretty much sums up things like the prior title anyway =P

At long last i have finally found myself a host for my new comic (going through “www.smackjeeves.com” for hosting).
By new I mean the one I showcased in the last post way back in December 2007 (yes it did take me that long to find somewhere… but then again I either was being stressed with college, working, going out and having fun with friends or just generally not bothering to look for one =P)
Anyway the comic has had a little change from the little teaser I left here all those months back (seems like a millennia since I posted that lol) and I have had to redraw a few things here and there. many of the pages were reorganised and given a complete update. I noticed whist looking through the original sketchbook that alot of the characters drawings did not match up all that well as the characters progressed and as I got used to drawing them. I also updated them regularily as I drew the characters and so that was also taken into account when I redrew the pages. all in all I should have to first four inked, hand coloured and online by the end of the week =D .
In other news interview on friday! portfolio course. wish me luck =D

anyway i am scraping the old idea for the comic and coming up with a new one. it is one that actually has a story line and characters that will appear in every page (almost 
) there is currently no title for it so if anyone can help there that would be great

i planned on sitting outside my front door and attack any guisers who came close…. but then i decided it was too cold -_-;; and sat around reading the web comic for 8-bit theatre (good comic, if you haven’t already, go read it!)
